Portuguese Potatoes Recipe
Ingredients 8 medium potatoes, cubed and boiled in skins 1lb (450g) Velveeta cheese 1/2 cup finely chopped onion 1 jar pimientos (small), chopped 3-4oz butter, melted 2 tbsp parsley 1 garlic clove, chopped 4 slices bread toasted and cubed Method Cook potatoes in jackets until done. Put in a large casserole dish. Cube cheese and sprinkle over potatoes. Sprinkle onions, chopped pimientos, parsley and garlic over potatoes and cheese. Cover with the cubed bread pieces, then pour melted margarine over casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. . Cooks Comments and Tips . |
