Recipe for Portuguese Portugese Sausage And Kale Broth Recipe

Ingredients

2 beef shin bones or a few pieces of stewing beef

1/4 cup navy beans

8oz (225g) linguica

1/2 head shredded cabbage

1 pkt frozen kale

4 potatoes, diced

2 large tins chicken broth

Dash of salt

1 small tin tomatoes

4oz (113g)butter

Method

Place beef, beans, potatoes and stock in large pot.

Bring to a boil and simmer 1 hour.

Add linguica cut in small slices and simmer for 30 minutes.

Add shredded cabbage, kale and salt and simmer until cabbage is tender.

Add tomatoes and butter and simmer another 10 minutes.

Tastes better second time around.

Serves 8.
