Recipe for Portuguese Portugese Kale And Bean Soup Recipe

Ingredients

5 pints cold water

1 cup large Northern white beans

2lb (900g) Linguica

5 potatoes, chopped

1 (15 oz.) tin kidney beans (for color)

6 kale leaves, chopped

Method

Add beans to cold water and linguica.

Cook all together until beans are cooked, add more water, if needed.

Bring all the above ingredients to a boil for 10 minutes.

Then lower until it is cooked.

Add kidney beans.

Chop boiled linguica, if desired, and add back into the soup.

Add salt to season.
