Portuguese Fishermans Stew Recipe
Ingredients 2lb (900g) white fish boneless, cut into chunks 3/4 tsp salt 1 medium Onion 4 tbsp oil oil 1/2 fresh lemon 1 (19 oz.) tin tomatoes 1 (8oz (225g)) tin tomato sauce 1 tsp paprika salt and pepper to season 1/2 bunch parsley 1/2 cup white wine or water 1 1/2 cup water Method Salt fish and leave to stand for a few hours. Brown onions in the olive oil. Add remaining ingredients except for the fish and continue to simmer for 30 minutes. Add fish and continue to cook until fish flakes. Cooks Comments and Tips . |
