Portuguese Rice Recipe
Ingredients 1 onion, diced 2 cloves garlic, sliced 2-3 tbsp butter 1 cup cooked rice 1 tin chilies, diced Monterey Jack cheese, sliced in thin strips Mozzarella cheese, sliced in thin strips 2 tins beef broth Method Saute onion and garlic in butter. Add rice, mix thoroughly. In casserole dish spread a thin layer of rice, then chilies, then cheeses. Repeat. Pour beef broth over layers. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Cooks Comments and Tips . |
