Portuguese-style Meatballs Recipe
Ingredients 1lb (450g) hamburger 8oz (225g) chourico (pepperoni) 1 egg 1 tbsp tomato puree 1 onion, finely chopped 2 onions, chopped 1 cup fresh breadcrumbs seasoning Oil 1 cup water 1/2 tsp salt Method Combine hamburger, chourico, tomatoe puree, egg, seasoning and one of the onions; blend well and shape into balls. Coat with bread crumbs. Brown meatballs and the rest of the onion in small amount of oil. Add 1 cup water and 1/2 tsp salt; simmer 15 minutes. Serve with rice. Cooks Comments and Tips . |
