Portuguese Pot Roast Recipe
Ingredients 5lb (2.2kg) chuck roast 2 cloves garlic White pepper 2 onions, sliced 1/2 cup water Potatoes ketchup Carrots 1/2 red pepper, sliced 1/2 green pepper, sliced 1 tin tomatoes 1/2 tsp salt 8oz (225g) chorizo 2 bay leaves Method Rub meat with garlic Place in large roaster pan and add pepper, onions, peppers, salt, chorico, bay leaf and water. Cover and cook at 350 degrees for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Add potatoes and carrots; cover with ketchup. Cook 1 1/2 to 2 hours more. Cooks Comments and Tips . |
