Portuguese Portugese Pot Roast Recipe
Ingredients 6lb (2.7kg) pork roast 1 cup sliced onions Salt & pepper 1 small tin tomatoes (or 4-5 cut up tomatoes) 12 small potatoes 1 cup carrots 2 cups string beans 1/4 cup vinegar 1lb (450g) linguica Method Brown meat on all sides. Cover 1/2 with water, top with onions. Simmer on top of stove for 3-4 hours. Add vegetables and linguica. Add 1/4 cup vinegar and simmer until tender. Cooks Comments and Tips . |
