Portuguese Chuck Roast Recipe
Ingredients 5lb (2.2kg) chuck roast 1 cup water 1/2 cup vinegar 1/4 tsp chili powder 1/4 tsp ground allspice 1 clove garlic, sliced 1 chourico 1 tin tomatoes 3 large potatoes, quartered carrots, cut into chunks Method Brown chuck roast in pan (on all sides). Add water, vinegar, and other ingredients. Place chourico on top of roast. Pour tomatoes over, mix and cover. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and bake 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Cooks Comments and Tips . |
