Recipe for Portuguese Fish And Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

4 fish steaks, possibly halibut

flour, salt & pepper for coating

oil to fry

Sauce

1/4 cup red onion, chopped

1/2 tsp cumin

2 tbsp parsley

2 tbsp vinegar

1 tin tomato sauce

1 tsp garlic salt

1/4 cup water

pepper and salt to season

Method

Make the sauce by mixing the sauce ingredients together. Set aside.

Coat the fish in a mixture of flour, salt, and pepper.

Fry until brown on both sides.

Dip the hot fish in mixture.

Heat any remaining sauce and serve separately.
