Recipe for Portuguese Codfish Recipe

Ingredients

2lb (900g) codfish, boneless

1 large onion

2 large hot red peppers

1/3 cup water

paprika

1/3 cup vinegar

1/3 cup vegetable oil

parsley

black pepper, freshly ground

Method

Soak codfish one day, changing water every couple of hours.

Boil codfish in water; change water and boil again.

Empty water completely and let fish cool.

While fish is cooling, in a separate bowl, mix all ingredients together; mix with fish, breaking codfish up.

Sprinkle pepper and paprika on top.
