Portuguese Malassadas Recipe
Ingredients 4 cup flour 5 eggs 1 tbsp butter 1 tbsp oil 1/2 tsp salt 1 pkt. dry yeast 3 tbsp sugar 1 cup milk Method Beat eggs and salt. Put flour in pan. Make hole in center of flour. Warm milk to lukewarm, mix in yeast and mix well with dry ingredients. Put in warm place to rise. Fry pieces of dough in hot vegetable oil. Once cool, place 2 at a time in paper bag with granulated sugar. To fry, have a bowl of warm water to dip your hands. Gather a ball of dough. Spread it and make a hole in dough before putting in oil.
