Italian Basil Pesto Recipe

recipe for Italian Basil Pesto

Ingredients

100g fresh Basil

100g Pine Nuts

100 freshly grated Parmesan Cheese

3 cloves Garlic

5-6 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Salt and freshly ground pepper to season

Method

Put the basil, nuts and garlic into a processor and blend to a smooth paste.

Add the parmesan and blend.

Add the olive oil a little at a time until thoroughly mixed and you have the required consistency.

Season and serve.
