Ingredients

8oz Butter (softened)

4oz Brown Sugar

1 teaspoon Almond Extract

8oz Whole Wheat Flour

2 Eggs (beaten)

1/2 teaspoon Lemon Zest

8oz Ground Almonds

4 tablespoons Amaretto Liqueur

Method

Cream together the butter and sugar.

Add the eggs, ground almonds, almond extract, amaretto liqueur and lemon zest and mix.

Now pour in the flour and beat well.

On a lined baking sheet drop teaspoons of the mixture two inches apart.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
