Italian Fruit Salad Recipe

Recipe for Italian Fruit Salad Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 Canteloupe Melon (cubed)

1/2 Pineapple (cubed)

8oz Grapes (washed and halved)

2 Peaches (remove stones and cube)

2 Kiwi Fruits (peeled and sliced)

4oz Strawberries (hulled)

4oz Blueberries (trimmed)

3oz Caster Sugar

4 tablespoons Rum

1/2 bottle Asti Spumante or Sweet Sparking Wine

Method

Prepare all fruits as mentioned above and put into a large glass dish.

Blend the sugar and rum, then pour evenly over the fruit.

Finally pour over the asti spumante or sweet sparkling wine.

Refrigerate for a couple of hours before serving.

Italian fruit salad is best served in large wine glasses so that your guest can drink the delicious remaining juices.
