Italian Focaccia Recipe
Ingredients
1lb Pizza Dough Olive Oil 1 tablespoon Fresh Rosemary (chopped) Salt to season Method Let the dough rise for about 2 hours until it doubles in size. Punch out the air and turn onto a lightly floured surface. Roll out to fit a shallow pizza pan. The dough should be about one inch thick. Leave for 1 hour to rise and then push indentations into dough with fingertips. Brush olive oil evenly on top. Sprinkle with salt and rosemary. Preheat oven to 375 degrees and cook for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Cooks Comments and Tips To reduce the time the dough has to rise, when making the dough warm the flour in the microwave for about 10 seconds. The are many versions of this focaccia recipe, try adding sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, onions or even different herbs. |
