Italian Stew Recipe
Ingredients 1 jar Italian Tomato Cooking Sauce 2lb Stewing Beef (cubed) 4 Medium Carrots 4 Medium Potatoes 2 Medium Onions 1 Beef Stock Cube Oil 250mls Water Method Put the oil in a large pan with the meat and brown. Add sauce, bring to boil, cover and simmer for 1-2 hours (until beef is tender). Peel potatoes, onions and carrots. Cut into quarters. Dissolve the stock cube in the water and add together with the vegetables to stew. Cover and simmer for another 30 minutes. Cooks Comments and Tips This italian stew is lovely on a cold day served with freshly baked ciabatta rolls. |
