French Leek Salad Recipe

Recipe for French Leek Salad Recipe

Ingredients

6 large Leeks

4 tbsp Vinaigrette Dressing

1 tbsp Parsley, chopped

Vinaigrette Dressing

1 tsp Salt

1/4 tsp Pepper

1 tbsp Wine vinegar

3 tbsp Vegetable oil

Method

Cut leeks in four, lengthwise.

Wash thoroughly until no sand remains between leaves.

Cook in salted boiling water for 30 minutes, or until leeks are very tender.

Place leeks in salad bowl.

Pour vinaigrette over leeks.

Sprinkle with parsley.

Serve warm or cold.

Vinaigrette Dressing

In a bowl mix the salt, pepper, and vinegar.

Continue mixing until salt has dissolved.

Now mix in the oil.

*This is a basic dressing for used for most salads.
