French Noodles Merilda Nouilles Merilda Recipe
Ingredients 8oz (225g) Noodles 2lb (900g) Mushrooms, chopped and cooked in butter 3 large Truffles, coarsely chopped 1 Egg yolk 1 tsp Salt 1/4 tsp Pepper 4oz (113g) Swiss cheese, grated Butter Method Cook noodles in boiling salted water. Drain. In mixing bowl, combine noodles, mushrooms, truffles, egg yolk, salt, and pepper. Mix well. In ovenproof casserole, place one-third of noodles in a layer. Sprinkle with one-third of grated cheese. Repeat operation two more times. Dot with butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Raise heat to 400 degrees and continue baking for 10 minutes.
