French Macaroni Au Gratin Recipe
Ingredients 1lb (450g) Macaroni 2 cups Bechamel Sauce *see below 1/2 cup Swiss cheese, grated 1 tsp Parsley, finely chopped Method *Recipe for "Bechamel Sauce" can be found in our Sauce Section. Cook macaroni in boiling salted water for about 15 minutes until done and drain. Grease an ovenproof dish. Layer half the grated cheese in the bottom Add some Bechamel sauce. Add half the macaroni. Cover with Bechamel sauce. Add the remaining macaroni. Cover with the remaining Bechamel sauce. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Dot with butter. Grill for 5 minutes until top is browned.
