French Fish Maitre Dhotel Recipe
Ingredients 1lb 8oz (675g) Fish fillets) 2 cups Water 1 tsp Salt 1 Lemon, cut into thin slices 1 Maitre D'Hotel Butter,* see below 1 pinch Dried tarragon leaves Method *Recipe for "Maitre D'Hotel Butter" can be found in our Sauces and Dressings Section. In large saucepan combine the water and salt. Add fillets and bring to boil. Take pan off the heat and leave to stand, covered, for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, add a little dried tarragon to some Maitre D'Hotel Butter. Serve on a hot platter decorated with slices of lemon and accompanied by the Maitre D'Hotel Butter. Cooks Comments and Tips . |
