Ingredients

4 Cooking apples

4 slices White bread

4 tsp sugar

4 tsp Butter

Method

Peel and core apples.

Cut slices of bread into circles about 2 1/2-inches in diameter.

Place bread in buttered baking dish.

Place an apple on each piece of bread.

In well in center of each apple, place 1 tsp sugar.

Add 1 tsp butter on each apple.

Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.

Serve warm.
