Egyptian Topping Recipe
Ingredients 1 c. sour milk* 3 egg yolks 1 c. sugar 1 tbsp. cornstarch Method *1 cup milk with 1 tablespoon lemon juice added to sour. Put all together, beat and put into double boiler. Cook until thick. You may add 1/2 cup chopped dates and 1/2 cup chopped nuts. Spread pudding on cake when cooled. Then melt 2 squares of chocolate and 1 tablespoon butter, spread melted chocolate in a thin layer over pudding. Cooks Comments and Tips |
