Jalapeno Popper Dip Recipe

 Jalapeno Popper Dip Receipe

Ingredients

400g Soft cream cheese

200ml Mayonnaise

40g chopped jalapeno peppers drained (jar)

40g chopped 'Peppadew' red peppers drained (jar)

80g Parmesan cheese (finely grated)

Tabasco Sauce

Method

Blend the cream cheese and mayonnaise until smooth

Stir in the jalapeno and red peppers

Add the Tabasco sauce, 2-3 drops at a time(the full amount will depend on personal preference so do taste after each couple of drops)

Finally add the grated parmesan cheese.  This can either be blended with the mix or simply sprinkled over the top

Jalapeno Popper dip can be served cold or if you like it hot, simply microwave for 2 minutes just before serving.

Cooks Tips

I like to add red 'Peppadew' peppers to my recipe instead of the usual green chilli peppers as I think the combination of colours adds to the presentation and enhances the flavour.

The number of uses for this Jalapeno Poppers mix is endless.  Apart from the original filling of the Jalapeno Poppers it can be served with batons of raw vegetables for dipping, spread on crusty bread or mini crackers, topping jacket potatoes or for stuffing tomatoes

At my parties I find that no matter how much the Jalapeno pepper dip I make it is so more-ish there is never seems to be enough so you may want to double or even triple the quantities
