Guacamole Dip Recipe
Ingredients 3 Ripe Avocados 2 cloves of Garlic (sliced) 1/2 Red Onion (roughly chopped) 1 Jalapeno Pepper (de-seeded and chopped) Juice of 1 lime 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder 1/2 teaspoons salt A good pinch of Cayenne Pepper
Method Mix the lime juice, cumin, cayenne pepper and salt in a dish and leave for half an hour. Meanwhile blend the garlic, red onion and jalapeno in a mixer. Put the avocado into a dish and mash with a fork. Now stir all the ingredients together, cover and chill in the fridge for 1 hour. Cooks Tips Never be tempted to put the avocado in the blender to save time, always chop and then mash with a fork. The guacamole dip is best served as soon as it has chilled. If you like your guacamole dip chunky don't puree the chopped onion and jalapeno, however, you will need to crush the garlic.
