Caramel Apple Dip Recipe
Ingredients 8oz Cream cheese 6oz Demerara Sugar 1 tsp Vanilla Extract 2lb Crisp Sweet Apples Juice of 1-2 lemons (depending on size) 12 Walnut halves, chopped (optional) Method Remove the cores from the apples and cut into slices. Immediately place the apple into a large dish and cover with water and lemon juice, to prevent the apple from browning. Chill until dip is ready. Put the cream cheese, sugar and vanilla extract into a pan, mix thoroughly and warm on a gentle heat. Pour into a serving bowl. Drain the apples and dry off on some kitchen paper. Now dip the apple slices in the sauce and enjoy. Cooks Comments and Tips This dip is also delicious with bananas. |
