Orange Chicken Recipe
Ingredients 2 chicken breasts, skinned and sliced 1 large orange, juice and grated zest 2 handful spinach leaves 1 clove garlic, finely chopped 1 tbsp clear honey 1 tsp soy sauce 1" cube root ginger, peeled and finely chopped Stir fry noodles 1/2 tsp chili powder 1 tbsp sesame oil 1 tbsp vegetable oil Method Blanch the spinach, soak the noodles in boiling water for 4 minutes and drain both thoroughly. Now add the sesame oil, gently mix and leave to one side. Heat the vegetable oil in a large frying pan and add the chicken slices. Fry on high for about 5 minutes until the chicken is golden brown. Meanwhile, whisk together the orange zest and juice, honey, chili powder, soy sauce, ginger and garlic. Now pour over the chicken and stir. Reduce the heat slightly and stir for 2-3 minutes, until the chicken is glazed. Add the noodles and spinach to the pan and warm through. Season if required and serve. Cooks Comments and Tips . |
