Chicken Slow Roast Recipe
Ingredients 1 large chicken 100ml white wine 100ml chicken stock 6 sprigs rosemary 6 bay leaves 1 lemon, sliced Method Preheat the oven to 170 degrees. Place the chicken in a large roasting pan and smear all over with butter. Pour over the white wine and stock, cover with foil and place in the oven. Cook for 1 hour and then remove the foil. Add sliced lemon and herbs and cook uncovered for another hour. Check that the chicken is cooked and leave to rest for 10 minutes before serving. Cooks Comments and Tips . |
