Recipe for Chicken Pie With Asparagus Recipe

Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts , cubed

olive oil

100g asparagus , cut into bite-size pieces

100g peas, defrosted

100g ham, chopped

100ml creme fraîche

50g fresh breadcrumbs

150g grated cheese

Method

Heat grill to medium.

Spread the chicken in a shallow baking dish.

Brush with oil and grill for 7-10 mins, turning occasionally until cooked through.

Meanwhile, put the peas and asparagus in a bowl and cover with boiling water.

Leave for a couple of minutes and drain.

Mix the vegetables and ham into the crème fraîche, season and pour over chicken.

Mix the chese and breadcrumbs and spread over the mix to form a lid to the pie.

Put under the grill for 5-10 minutes, until heated through and the top of the pie is golden brown and crispy.
