Bruschetta Mozzarella

Recipe for Bruschetta Mozzarella

Ingredients

1 loaf Italian bread

1/3 c. olive oil

1 clove garlic, minced

1/2 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. coarse ground pepper

1/2 c. thinly sliced green onions

3/4 c. chopped tomatoes

1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) shredded low moisture Mozzarella cheese

Method

Cut bread in half lengthwise.

Place cut side up on foil.

Combine oil, garlic, salt and pepper.

Drizzle over bread.

Sprinkle with green onions and tomato.

Top with mozzarella cheese and bake at 500 degrees F for 5 to 7 minutes or until cheese is melted and edge is browned.
